The Aspen Locals Dental Plan is designed to keep you healthy and cover more than traditional dental insurance.
No more waiting in hopes that your job offers Dental Insurance or waiting periods for certain types of treatment (such as crowns and root canals)
No low annual maximums or deductibles of traditional dental insurance
No more disallowed procedures such as Cosmetics, Implants, and Invisalign

Included in the plan:
New Patients will receive a comprehensive full mouth evaluation and consultation with Dr. Turchin, and a full mouth series of x-rays.
2-3 dental cleanings per year, during the off-season treatment months outlined below
Oral Cancer Screening
Sleep Apnea Screening
TMJ Screening and headache evaluation
A thorough consultation to review your dental health status and develop a plan for long term health
Check-up X-rays as necessary
15% off ANY additional necessary dental work including fillings, crowns, periodontal treatment, root canals, nightguards, etc. during the off-season treatment months outlined below.
Also includes 15% off optional dental treatments that dental insurance does not cover such as veneers, Invisalign, bonding, implants and TMJ/Headache treatment during the off-season treatment months outlined below.
Our plan has no maximum, unlike dental insurance which offers an average $1,000-$1,500 maximum
This offer is for full-time Aspen and Roaring Fork residents ONLY and requires treatment in the months of April/May or October/November. Care during other months will be billed at full fee. But in our experience, this is the time most locals have more free time to take care of themselves, and these months are conveniently 6 months apart.

We are dedicated to keeping our patients healthy in a comfortable non-judgmental environment. Everything in our practice is designed for the best experience and results. From ceiling mounted televisions and noise cancellation headphones for comfort, to our in-house ceramist who hand makes all of our porcelain crowns and veneers for a microscopic fit (needed for gum health and longevity) and natural esthetics. Our practice is designed for the best care.
Dr. Turchin moved to Aspen in 2012 after training in NYC and practicing in Manhattan for 13 years. His passions are people's oral health and smiles. Outside of the office, he loves to ski, cook, and spend time with his wife Gina, and daughters Ava and Lia. He lectures nationally, teaches a bi-annual dental course in Aspen and is the Cosmetic Faculty of the Dental Success Network. His contributions to education in dentistry were recently honored in a chapter of the book Titans of Dentistry.
Our clinical care nurse, Elena, has 20 years of experience caring for patients. And the team was voted as Best Dentist 6 years in a row!

Which brings us to our newest goal: to help screen every single person in the valley for Sleep Apnea. Because it is often misdiagnosed as “just snoring”, Sleep Apnea goes undiagnosed in 90% of those that suffer from it. Sadly, it is estimated to decrease one's lifespan up to 7 years. If you know someone who snores or has other sleep related issues, urge them to take our simple Sleep Apnea Screener (free to all valley residents) that is 90% accurate in predicting sleep apnea. Good sleep is essential to our health and well being.
